I live in North Berkeley, in an area known as the "Gourmet Ghetto". There are some fantastic places to eat and shop in the area. The most famous restaurants are Chez Panisse and the Cheese Board Collective. Funny, but I have lived here for almost 14 years and pass Chez Panisse almost everyday but I have never eaten there. I might be the $75.00 PER person. That just seems to be a bit much. I guess one night I'll take the wife out for a special meal there.

A couple of quick words about my job search;

• I am looking for a full time permanent position, ie. an FTE position, only. I am NOT interested in a contract position. Any and all email about contract positions are deleted immediately.
  
• No startups. I have done 4 in the past, during the DotCom. Sorry, just not interested.
  
• I live in Berkeley and I am only interested in positions in the San Francisco Bay area. This means San Francisco, the East Bay, the peninsula, San Jose and the South Bay. Any emails about positions outside of the Bay Area are deleted immediately.
  
• Please read my resume before you send me a job req. If you send me a job req that requires a skill set that I do not have, that shows that you did not read my resume and you are waisting my time. Your email will deleted immediately.
  

I know all this sounds harsh but I get dozens of email and phone calls every week about positions that I am not qualified for nor would I be interested in. They are just a big waste of time.
